FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Swine and Broiler Chickens

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) for Med-Pharmex, Inc.'s lincomycin hydrochloride soluble powder, which will be used to treat swine with dysentery and broiler chickens with necrotic enteritis.
