FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Chickens and Cattle

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) for Phoenix Scientific, Inc. to use sulfadimethoxine (SDM) soluble powder in medicated drinking water for treating chickens and turkeys, as well as dairy calves and heifers and beef cattle.
