BASF Corp. Files Petition to Amend Food Additive Regulations for New Colorant

The FDA has announced that BASF Corp. has submitted a proposal to allow the use of a specific colorant, C.I. Pigment Yellow 183, in food-contact high density polyethylene and polypropylene resins, pending regulatory review and approval.
