Genzyme Surgical Products Corp. Files Petition to Amend Color Additive Regulations for Sutures

Genzyme Surgical Products Corp. has submitted a petition to the FDA to revise color additive regulations for the use of D&C Violet No. 2 in absorbable sutures, and to update the nomenclature of polyglactin 910 to a generic term for copolymers of glycolide and L-lactide.
