FDA Releases Draft Guidance for Industry on Hepatitis C Virus Testing and Notification

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a draft guidance document dated June 1999, which provides recommendations for donor screening, supplemental testing, and notification of consignees and recipients for antibody to Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), in cases where a donor tests repeatedly reactive for HCV.
