FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Coccidiosis Prevention in Broiler Chickens

The FDA is amending its regulations to reflect the approval of a new animal drug application filed by Schering-Plough Animal Health Corp., which allows for the use of a medicated feed containing diclazuril to prevent coccidiosis in broiler chickens.
