FDA Proposes to Reclassify Sheep as Minor Species for Animal Drug Applications
The FDA is proposing to amend its regulations to allow sponsors of supplemental new animal drug applications to extrapolate human food safety data from cattle to sheep, effectively reclassifying sheep as a minor species for data collection purposes.
