Engelhard Corp. Files Petition to Amend Food Additive Regulations for Colorant Use

The FDA has announced that Engelhard Corp. has submitted a proposal to allow the safe use of a specific colorant, C.I. Pigment 209 and C.I. Pigment 209:1, in polymers intended for food-contact applications, as part of an effort to update food additive regulations.
