FDA Proposes New Regulations for Human Cellular and Tissue-Based Products

The FDA is proposing new rules requiring manufacturers of products made from human cells or tissues to screen donors for diseases and test them for communicable diseases, in an effort to improve public health and increase confidence in new technologies.
