FDA Approves New Ion Exchange Resin for Water Treatment

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to permit the safe use of a new ion exchange resin, containing divinyl benzene and diethylene glycol divinyl ether, for treating water and aqueous foods, following a petition from Rohm and Haas Co.
