FDA Approves Oral Moxidectin Gel for Horses and Ponies

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Fort Dodge Animal Health, which allows for the oral use of moxidectin gel to treat and control Gasterophilus nasalis (3rd instars) infections in horses and ponies.
