FDA Revokes Compliance Policy Guide for Acupuncture Devices and Accessories

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is revoking the Compliance Policy Guide (CPG) 7124.11, which deals with acupuncture devices and accessories, to eliminate an outdated compliance policy. This decision comes after the reclassification of acupuncture needles from class III to class II, special controls, making the current policy no longer relevant.
