U.S. Department of State to Establish Regulatory Regime for Exporting Commercial Satellite Components and Systems to U.S. Allies

The Department of State will establish a regulatory regime for the export licensing of commercial satellites, technologies, components, and systems to U.S. allies, with expedited approval and prioritizing national security and U.S. commitments under the Missile Technology Control Regime, while also requiring timely reporting of shipment information to the Department within 15 days of shipment or export.
