Federal Agencies Seek Public Comment on Proposed Change to Quarterly Bank Reports
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Reserve Board, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) are requesting public comment on a proposed change to the method by which banks submit their quarterly Reports of Condition and Income (Call Reports). The proposed change would shift from paper-based submissions to electronic or computer diskette filings, with banks having the option to file directly or contract with a third-party service for conversion and filing.
