North Pacific Fishery Management Council Submits Amendments to Fishery Management Plans

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council has submitted amendments to the fishery management plans for the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Area and the Gulf of Alaska, extending the Vessel Moratorium Program for vessels that were eligible before December 31, 1998, to prevent a hiatus between the end of the program and the start of the License Limitation Program.
