Agency Information Collection Activities; Submission for OMB Review; Comment Request Concerning the Interagency Bank Merger Act Application

In accordance with requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.), the OCC, Board, FDIC, and OTS (Agencies) hereby give notice that they plan to submit to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request for OMB review and approval of the information collection systems described below.

Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection Renewal; Comment Request

The FDIC, as part of its obligations under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the request to renew the existing information collections described below (OMB Control No. 3064-0140; -0176). The notices of proposed renewal for these information collections were previously published in the Federal Register on July 2, 2026, allowing for a 60-day comment period. No comments were received.

Reciprocal Deposits: Implementing the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is amending its brokered deposit regulations to conform with recent changes to section 29 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act made by section 902 of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act related to reciprocal deposits, which took effect on July 11, 2026. The FDIC is also providing certain clarifications regarding the reciprocal deposit framework to facilitate and simplify compliance. The FDIC invites public comment on this interim final rule.
