One-Year Post-Employment Restrictions for Senior Examiners
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) have jointly adopted final rules to implement post-employment restrictions on senior examiners of depository institutions and depository institution holding companies. These restrictions, as outlined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, prohibit senior examiners from accepting compensation from certain depository institutions or related entities for one year after leaving their employment.
