Passenger Manifest Information

The National Air Carrier Association (NACA) filed a petition for reconsideration of DOT's final rule concerning passenger manifests on airline flights to or from the United States. NACA asked that travel agents and tour operators be required to collect the full name of each U.S. citizen passenger and solicit the name and telephone number of a contact. Currently, this is required only of airlines. DOT is denying the petition.
