FCIC Proposes Amendments to Cotton and ELS Cotton Crop Insurance Provisions

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) is proposing changes to the Cotton Crop Insurance Provisions and the Extra Long Staple (ELS) Cotton Crop Insurance Provisions, effective for the 1999 and subsequent crop years, to enhance the policy's coverage and flexibility in response to various crop damages and to better meet the needs of cotton farmers.
