SEC Grants Accelerated Approval for Nasdaq Market Maker Standards

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved a proposed rule change by the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD) to introduce new primary Nasdaq market maker standards on a pilot basis for Nasdaq National Market securities.
