Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed CO2 Well-Field Development in Arizona/New Mexico

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is directing a third-party contractor to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a proposed carbon dioxide well-field development in Arizona and New Mexico. The project, known as the St. Johns, Arizona CO2 Project (SJAC), spans public, state trust, and private lands in Apache County, Arizona, and Catron County, New Mexico.
