U.S. Department of Energy and Minnesota Environmental Quality Board Announce Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Minnesota Agri-Power Plant

The U.S. Department of Energy and the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board have announced their intention to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for a proposed 75-103 megawatt biomass fueled gasifier and electric generating facility, known as the Minnesota Agri-Power Plant, which would be fueled with alfalfa stems grown and processed primarily in Minnesota and South Dakota.
