EPA Extends Tolerance for Paraquat Residues on Dry Peas

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended a temporary exemption for residues of the herbicide paraquat on dry peas for an additional 1.5 years, until May 15, 2000, following an emergency exemption granted under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) for use on dry peas.
