US Department of the Interior Discontinues Planning for Spanish Fork Canyon Irrigation System

The US Department of the Interior has decided not to proceed with planning for the Spanish Fork Canyon Nephi Irrigation System, citing concerns over salinity impacts to Utah Lake, following public comments from the Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Utah, as well as the Strawberry Water Users Association.
