EPA Makes Tentative Determination on Alaska's Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Permit Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made a tentative determination of program adequacy for Alaska's Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Permit Program, which is required under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The determination covers portions of the program that ensure compliance with federal landfill criteria for hazardous household waste and small quantity generator waste.
