FHWA and FTA to Issue Final Guidance on Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are publishing interim guidance on the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century's (TEA-21) Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ), inviting public comment on the development of final guidance. The agencies plan to host forums to gather input from stakeholders before issuing comprehensive final guidance.
