DOE Extends Public Scoping Period for Plutonium-238 Production Statement

The Department of Energy (DOE) is extending the public comment period for its Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on the proposed production of Plutonium-238 for use in advanced radioisotope power systems for future space missions until January 4, 1999.
