DEA Proposes Rescheduling of Marinol to Schedule III

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has proposed rescheduling the FDA-approved drug product Marinol, containing dronabinol, from Schedule II to Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), citing relevant data and a recommendation from the Assistant Secretary for Health of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
