California Walnut Marketing Board to Increase Assessment Rate for Walnut Handlers

The Walnut Marketing Board, responsible for regulating walnut handling in California, plans to increase the assessment rate for walnut handlers from $0.0116 to $0.0133 per kernelweight pound of merchantable walnuts certified, effective for the 1998-99 marketing year and beyond.
