Electronic Filing of Reports by Publicly Financed Presidential Primary and General Election Candidates

The Federal Election Commission published revised regulations on August 27, 1998, requiring publicly financed presidential primary and general election candidates to electronically file their reports, which went into effect on November 13, 1998.
