DoD to Demonstrate Military-Managed Primary Care for Medicare-Eligible Retirees

The Department of Defense will enroll up to 2,000 Medicare-eligible military retirees at MacDill Air Force Base to receive primary care from primary care managers, aiming to show that a DoD-operated program can provide primary health care services more effectively and efficiently than the current system.
