Medicare Program; Prospective Payment System for Hospital Outpatient Services; Extension of Comment Period

The U.S. government is extending the public comment period for a proposed rule that aims to overhaul the payment system for hospital outpatient services, including Medicare Part B services, by 60 days, from September 8, 1998, to January 7, 1999.
