Medicare Program; Update of Ratesetting Methodology, Payment Rates, Payment Policies, and the List of Covered Procedures for Ambulatory Surgical Centers Effective October 1, 1998; Extension of Comment Period

The Medicare program is extending the comment period for proposed rule changes, including updates to payment rates and procedures for ambulatory surgical centers, for a third time, from June 12, 1998, and will now run for 60 days.
