EPA Proposes Administrative Order on Consent for Carbographics Industries Corporation Superfund Site Cleanup

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to sign and issue an Administrative Order on Consent (AOC) for a cleanup at the Carbographics Industries Corporation Superfund Site, allowing the company to perform the cleanup in exchange for waiving approximately $5,000 in response costs, which the EPA believes will expedite the removal action without the need for costly litigation.
