National Park Service Prepares Oil and Gas Management Plan for Big Thicket National Preserve in Texas

The National Park Service is developing an Oil and Gas Management Plan/Environmental Impact Statement for Big Thicket National Preserve in Texas, following a requirement under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, and is seeking public input through the scoping process, which will be overseen by John E. Cook, Intermountain Regional Director, National Park Service.
