USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Coeur d'Alene Beetle Project

The USDA Forest Service will assess the potential environmental impacts of proposed activities in infested Douglas-fir bark beetle stands, focusing on urban interface area fuel reduction, historic vegetation restoration, and ecosystem restoration to benefit aquatic, watershed, and wildlife habitats in the Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District.
