Coast Guard Proposes Changes to Drawbridge Operation Regulation at Chef Menteur Pass in LA

The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing a new regulation for the operation of the U.S. Highway 90 swing span bridge across Chef Menteur Pass in Louisiana, allowing the draw to remain closed to navigation from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, except federal holidays, to alleviate traffic congestion for commuters.
