EPA Approves Alabama State Plan for Municipal Waste Combustors

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the Alabama Department of Environmental Management's (ADEM) State Plan for implementing and enforcing emissions guidelines for existing municipal waste combustors with a capacity of over 250 tons per day, as submitted on September 11, 1998, in compliance with the Clean Air Act.
