Navy Ships Must Report Garbage Discharges to International Maritime Convention

The US Secretary of Defense must submit an annual report to MARPOL Annex V on Navy ship waste discharges in special areas, as mandated by the Act to Prevent Pollution from Ships (APPS). This is the fifth such report.
