The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the tolerance for residues of the insecticide hydramethylnon on pineapples for an additional 1.5 years, until May 30, 2001, following an emergency exemption granted under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) section 18.
