Wyoming Public Lands to be Classified for Conveyance to Solid Waste Disposal District

The US government has examined public lands in Fremont County, Wyoming, near rural communities, and found them suitable for classification under the Recreation and Public Purposes Act, allowing for their conveyance to the Fremont County Solid Waste Disposal District, which plans to continue using the Shoshoni sanitary landfill and maintain solid waste transfer stations at the other three sites.
