Unit of Quantity Requirement for Textile and Apparel Products Produced or Manufactured in Various Countries

The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced a new unit of quantity requirement for textile and apparel products produced or manufactured in various countries, aiming to improve the accuracy of cargo declarations and prevent smuggling. The new rule will take effect on January 1, 2024, and will apply to all textile and apparel products imported into the US.
