FHWA Adopts Regulations for Waivers, Exemptions, and Pilot Programs Under FMCSRs

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is implementing new regulations to streamline the process for requesting waivers and exemptions from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), as well as to govern the administration of pilot programs aimed at evaluating alternative regulations.
