EPA Finalizes Rule on Hazardous Organic NESHAP for Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized amendments to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Source Categories: Organic Hazardous Air Pollutants from the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry and Other Processes Subject to the Negotiated Regulation for Equipment Leaks, also known as the Hazardous Organic NESHAP or HON, to clarify the definition of enhanced biological treatment systems and revise compliance demonstration procedures.
