EPA Approves Maryland's General Conformity Rule for Air Quality Implementation Plans

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revision to the State of Maryland's State Implementation Plan (SIP) that includes the regulation for general conformity, ensuring non-transportation related Federal projects comply with the state's air quality plan, in accordance with the Clean Air Act.
