EPA Approves Maryland's General Conformity Rule for Air Quality Implementation Plans

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is taking direct final action to approve the State of Maryland's general conformity rule, which sets standards for non-transportation related Federal projects to ensure air quality implementation plan compliance, as a revision to the State Implementation Plan (SIP) under the Clean Air Act.
