Mining Specifications for Prime Farmland

This document extends the comment period of a proposed notice published in the Federal Register on October 28, 1998. This notice sets forth specifications for soil handling in relation to mining activities on Prime Farmland as provided for in the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA).
