EPA Proposes Temporary Suspension of Toxicity Characteristic Rule for Lead-Based Paint Debris

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing a temporary suspension of the Toxicity Characteristic Rule for lead-based paint debris generated during abatements, deleading projects, and renovation activities, allowing for more streamlined management and disposal under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Title IV.
