Licensing, Financial Responsibility Requirements, and General Duties for Ocean Transportation Intermediaries

The Federal Maritime Commission proposes to add new regulations establishing licensing and financial responsibility requirements for ocean transportation intermediaries in accordance with the Shipping Act of 1984, as modified by the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 1998 (the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 1998).
