HUD Issues Statement on Fair Housing Enforcement: Guidance on Occupancy Standards

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has released a statement outlining the factors it considers when evaluating housing providers' occupancy policies to determine if they may be discriminatory against families with children, in accordance with the Fair Housing Act and the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998.
